1. NAME AND THE HEAD OFFICE OF THE TRUST AND INTERPRETATIONS

	 i.	The Trust shall be called " THE HAILIAN WELFARE TRUST FUND"

	 ii.	The Head Office of the Trust shall be located at Lahore

	 iii.	In this Deed, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context:-

		 a)	"Hailians" means the old, existing and new students of Hailey College of Commerce;

		 b)	"Beneficiaries" mean and include, Hailians, children and dependents of old/existing Hailians;

		 c)	"Patron-in-Chief" means the Patron-in-Chief of the Old Hailians Association;

		 d)	"Executive Members" means the Executive Members of the Old Hailians Association;

		 e)	"Fund" means the HAILIAN WELFARE FUND.

 2. OBJECTS OF THE TRUST

 The objects of the trust shall be to sponsor/support/set up/operate welfare schemes, programmes and activities in humanitarian 
 field in Pakistan including the following, to:-

 a)	patronize Hailey College of Commerce, Lahore;

 b)	help the needy students pursuing education from Hailey College, in the shape of stipends and interest free loans (Qarza-e-Hassna);

 c)	award scholarships in the form of the old Hailians, by one time donation and by Qarza-e-Hassna; and

 d)	undertake recreational activities, and any other measures that could contribute to the well-being of those eligible for its benefits.

 The scope of none of the above sub-clauses shall be deemed to limit or effect the scope of any other sub-clause
